About Klára Abdi de Luz
Klára is a Sound and Energy Healer and Intuitive Guide whose work is rooted in her own extensive journey of healing complex and intergenerational trauma.
Klára was born in Czechoslovakia, where she spent her early childhood under communism. Following the sudden death of her father, she came to Canada with her family as a refugee. Her life has been shaped by early loss, displacement, intergenerational trauma, and other difficult experiences that led her into a sustained search for healing, meaning, and reconnection.
Her approach to trauma is informed not only by academic knowledge and professional training, but also by lived experience. She understands how the effects of trauma can reach into the body, relationships, sense of self, creativity, spirituality, and the ways we move through the world. Her own healing journey began in 2014 and has drawn on psychological, embodied, creative, spiritual, and energetic approaches.
In 2018, sound became an integral part of that journey. Through her own experiences of its subtle yet transformative power, she began developing a healing practice that brings together sound, energy work, intuitive perception, and shamanic journeying.
Klára has trained in Pranic Healing, Magnified Healing, and Reiki. These foundations have evolved into a deeply intuitive way of working in which each session is guided by the individual and by what emerges in the moment. She may perceive interruptions or blocks in a person’s energetic flow and work to release or transform them, supporting greater movement, connection, and balance.
Sound is central to her practice. Klára works with her voice through chanting, toning, and intuitively channelled sound, alongside crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, frame drum, steel tongue drums, rain sticks, wind chimes, rattles, and other resonant instruments. She also uses shamanic drumming to support inner journeying and access expanded states of consciousness.
Within these states, deeper dimensions of a person’s experience may arise. Depending on what is needed, Klára’s work may engage with emotional wounds, embodied memories, ancestral patterns, past-life resonances, power animals, or other symbolic and energetic material. She does not impose a particular interpretation or predetermined process; instead, she listens closely and works with what reveals itself through the session.
Her approach can support people experiencing emotional pain, grief, life transitions, persistent patterns, energetic stagnation, disconnection from the body or intuition, or a desire for deeper spiritual connection. Sessions can offer space for relaxation and restoration, emotional processing, energetic clearing, inner exploration, and reconnection with one’s own wisdom.
Although aspects of Klára’s work may be described as shamanic, her practice is personal and intuitive rather than representative of any particular Indigenous, cultural, or ceremonial lineage.
Klára is also a PhD Candidate whose research uses poetic inquiry to explore trauma and healing. Her work brings together academic knowledge, lived experience, and creative, embodied, intuitive, and spiritual practices. In addition to sound and energy healing, she supports people in exploring trauma, healing, and challenging life experiences through writing and other creative processes. Across all dimensions of her work, she creates spaces in which people can connect with their own experiences, discover what wants to be expressed, and have that expression witnessed.
She has been sharing sound and energy healing on YouTube since 2018 through ASMR & Reiki, sound healing meditations, guided drumming journeys, and voice and instrumental work.
I am so happy you have found your way here and I can't wait to meet and work with you!
Other Practitioners I Work With

Roya Abdi,
Bodyworker and Somatic Energy Healer
Hi there, I'm Roya. I am a bodyworker and somatic energy healer with a studio at UBC. I graduated from the Vancouver School of Healing Arts with a Bodywork Therapy Diploma. Prior to my schooling, I was very sensitive to energies in my environment and the people I came into contact with. Through my own personal journey with somatic healing, I have been able to grow my roots deeper and fuller. Combining my personal experiences with my schooling, I now have a solid foundation for my work.
My work is cantered around the sacredness of our needs, integration and healing. I believe that through the recognition and fulfillment of our needs we become more embodied and in tune with our higher selves.
I have been trained in multiple modalities, including myofascial deep tissue, reflexology, Swedish, joint release, head massage, hydrotherapy combined with aromatherapy.
My work is centred around the sacredness of our needs, integration and healing. I believe that through the recognition and fulfillment of our needs we become more embodied and in tune with our higher selves. I also believe that it is through the process that we gain wisdom about our patterns in relation to unmet needs. I believe that maybe it is the complexity of our needs that reflects the depths of our spiritual nature.
I have always been in tune with my body and how our spirit leaves us messages through this vessels. My role is to listen and bring the intention of love and acceptance into places within the body that call me to them. I find that the more present the client is willing to be the more powerful the impact will be. You don’t have to do anything but breathe and surrender.
Though my work is always centred around energy (state of being and embodiment) I still love to use touch and my physical techniques to help ground and explore the range of movement in the body. To me it’s about balance, they help each other, they coexist. You can’t shift the physical without first shifting the energetic, but that all happens in the nervous system. The nervous system and massage have been linked throughout time but now that we are understanding the layers and importance nervous system work has on us, our work is no longer superficial and just relaxing - it is healing and using that knowledge to bring awareness is so powerful.
You can find me @integrativespirit on Instagram and Facebook. My email is integativehealer@gmail.com. I offer 60 and 75 minute treatments for $80 and $95 respectively. There is also a special price for consecutive bodywork session with me and sound healing session with Klára - 2 hour total for $195 ($20 savings).
